Zoe Brookes, Trustee
Zoe Brookes serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Trenton Health Team. She is a co-founder of the Trenton Circus Squad and former COO of Isles Inc, so has first- hand experience of what it takes to run a nonprofit in New Jersey’s capital city. Before these roles, Zoe spent most of her career as a strategic planning consultant, including stints with Bain & Company, The Bridgespan Group and Deloitte & Touche, as well as in her own firm, Oomen Brookes LLC. She has seen the inner workings of dozens of nonprofits. As a child in the UK, Zoe was a beneficiary of free programs that made music instruction accessible to young people, and some of her formative experiences came through participating in bands, orchestras, and ensembles.

Melissa Daciek, Trustee
Melissa comes to us with over 20 years’ experience in the public sector supporting various C-Suite executives and is known for being a hands-on, dedicated, and resourceful ‘right hand’. With extensive experience in executive management and executive support roles throughout her career, Melissa frequently is sought out to help plan, organize and execute both small- and large-scale meetings and events. Melissa is valued for her variety of organizational, planning, research and technical skills as well as her ability to communicate across all levels of professionals with empathy, trust and discretion. Melissa has worked with several nonprofit organizations in her professional career, including leading the corporate Employee Giving Fund at Church & Dwight, Co., Inc. and enjoys engaging in corporate and local volunteer opportunities and events.
Melissa grew up in a musical family and participating in choirs, band, dance, and theater. Melissa and her husband Stephen (also a part time musician) and now enjoy watching their sons participate in Marching Band. Melissa’s love of music and willingness to serve inspired her to join the Capital Harmony Works family.

Joe Eisele, Trustee
Joe Eisele brings over 25 years of experience in mass media, including a six-year tenure as Publisher of The Princeton Packet. Currently Joe is a Client Relations Executive, Strategic Accounts, for Holman Enterprises, a global automotive fleet management company. Previously to this, he was a broadcast and digital marketing specialist with Townsquare Media, home of Trenton’s #1 hit Music Station, 94.5 WPST-‐FM. He is a former volunteer with the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation and the local chapter of the United States Sled Hockey Association, which helped disadvantaged area youth get involved and learn the sport of hockey. He is a former membership committee member of the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce, and a founding member and former Board of Directors member of the Montgomery Business Association. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. He resides in Mount Laurel, New Jersey with his wife and their four children.

Jessica Figueroa, Trustee
Jessica Figueroa is the Marketing Manager at the United Way of Greater Mercer County. She has 7+ years working for nationally recognized non-profit organizations. Jessica is passionate about youth, education, and mental health.
She volunteers with HISPA (Hispanics Inspiring Students’ Performance and Achievement) to inspire students to reach their dreams of higher education. Jessica is a part of the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber Young Professionals Committee to assist with the planning of networking and professional development events. Jessica has also volunteered with CONTACT of Mercer County to provide emotional support to individuals in crisis and distress. Jessica received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from The College of New Jersey. She resides with her family in Central New Jersey.

Tanice Fitzpatrick, Trustee
Tanice Fitzpatrick worked at various firms in Washington DC, Boston, NYC and LA as a corporate interior designer. For the past 35 years she's had her own Architectual Design firm, Fitzpatrick and Associates, LLC. Prior to the merger which created Capital Harmony Works, Tanice was involved with Trenton Children’s Chorus for nearly 25 years, taking on various roles, including mother of two choir members, choir mom, Board member and Board president.

Erin Hartshorn, Trustee
Erin Hartshorn is the Vice President of Development and Communications for Womanspace, Inc., a Mercer County, NJ-based organization that serves victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. She is responsible for creating a resource development and external communications strategy that engages community members in Womanspace's work as a leading anti-violence organization that serves over 11,000 individuals a year. With over 20 years of experience in the field, she has worked in diverse mission areas including policy think tanks, museums, and public health. She thrives on making positive change in the community by bringing together diverse stakeholders to achieve a common objective. Erin is a graduate of St. Joseph's University and holds a certificate in Executive Non-Profit Leadership from the Bryn Mawr College School of Social Work. A South Jersey native, she has worked in the DC/Baltimore and Philadelphia metropolitan areas. She now calls Trenton, NJ home.

Mathias Hemberger, Trustee
Mathias Hemberger has over 30 years of diverse international business experience with large global organizations. He brings his expertise in business development and networking to Capital Harmony Works. Having learned piano and guitar as a child and participated in children’s choirs in his native Germany, Mathias firmly believes in the value of music and musical education in shaping a
child’s character and values. Educated in Germany, Mathias studied business in Würzburg and Saarbrücken, focusing on marketing and strategic management. He also completed executive training programs at IMD Business School in Lausanne. Mathias lives in Lawrenceville, NJ, with his wife. They have two daughters: one recently graduated from UNC Chapel Hill, and the other is pursuing a master’s degree at Boston University.

Karen Palmer Richardson, Trustee
Karen Richardson, a native Trentonian, was educated in the Trenton Public School System and graduated from Trenton Central High School. Karen attended Tuskegee University and attained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science and further pursued a career in Animal Husbandry. Karen spent 35 years as the Supervisor of Virology Testing with the New Jersey Department of Agriculture, Animal Health Division. Karen is the mother of two sons and very close to her extended family. Karen is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and a lifelong member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Trenton, New Jersey where she serves as president of the Trustee Aide Board.

Julia Taylor, Trustee
Julia serves as Executive Director of The American Graffiti Museum, a new nonprofit that is developing a major cultural institution in downtown Trenton dedicated to the study and appreciation of graffiti and street art. Prior to this, Julia served as Chief Strategy Officer at Trenton Health Team for five years, and as Managing Director at Isles for more than 10 years. Before her tenure in Trenton, during which she focused on community planning and public health, Julia worked in real estate development, historic preservation, and social policy research. She served on the board of The Hunterdon Land Trust and as President of Lambertville City Council, led a local Lambertville organization dedicated to environmental sustainability, and currently supports the Lambertville mayor and council on issues related to the environment and affordable housing. Julia grew up watching her dad play guitar in a local band and sang with a cappella groups throughout high school and into college. She’s excited to watch her son learn the guitar now and to support Trenton students on their musical journeys.

Genevieve Thayer, Trustee
Genevieve spent the entirety of her 23-year career in the wealth management and financial services industry, of which the last several years include her role as Co-Founder of Beacon Partners. As a former business consultant and executive and leadership coach for independent financial advisors, she is a critical thinker and problem solver and excels at designing solutions to improve processes and building efficiencies into the day-to-day operations of an organization.

Dr. Anniesha Walker, Trustee
Dr. Anniesha Walker is the founder and CEO of Purposeful Pathway Consultants, a multicultural group counseling and consulting practice. Her desire is to shed light on marginalized individuals and ensure that they can access mental health resources that represent them. As a licensed clinical social worker and administrator with more than 20 years in the nonprofit sector, she provides clinical supervision and strategically guides organizations in program development. Dr. Walker has earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from The College of New Jersey, a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Doctorate in Clinical Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania.
